The thesis

Why this, why here, why now

Infrastructure businesses compound

Invoicing, ISP billing, a licensed sportsbook and clinical records are not apps — they are rails other businesses run on. Once an operator’s routers, a company’s receivables or a clinic’s records sit on AppNet software, the switching cost is the whole operation.

Services fund the products

Consulting revenue has paid for every line of product code so far. Each product began as a paid engagement, was generalised, and now sells on its own. The pipeline for the next one is the current client list.

Built for the conditions that exist

M-Pesa STK push as a first-class rail, MikroTik as the router that is actually deployed, low bandwidth and modest hardware as the norm. Competing products assume infrastructure the market does not have; ours assume the infrastructure it does.

One team, four verticals, shared core

Ledger, payments, identity and reporting are shared across PlackPay, VillageHub, Betting and AppNet EHR. A capability shipped for one lands in the other three — engineering leverage most vertical SaaS never gets.

The market

Large, underserved, reachable from Nairobi

Each product targets a segment where the incumbent is paper, a spreadsheet, or a system built for somewhere with better connectivity. We are replacing software's absence.

Trajectory

From services to platform

  1. Phase 1

    Services foundation

Consulting practice established across five competencies. First payments and health engagements delivered as bespoke builds.

  2. Phase 2

    First products

PlackPay and AppNet EHR generalised from client work and deployed to further customers.

  3. Phase 3

    Field platform

VillageHub reaches 500+ network operators. Shared ledger and payments core extracted across all four products.

  4. Now

    Scale the products

Raising to move from founder-led sales to a repeatable go-to-market across East Africa, and to fund the shared platform team.

Use of funds

Where the money goes

The raise funds the shift from founder-led sales to a repeatable motion, and the platform team that lets four products move as one.
